TATTOO RITUAL
All tattoos can be rituals, and present the opportunity for affirming experiences with autonomy, pain, and body adornment. Through my tattoo practice, I aim to create spaces of healing and affirmation. I am interested in your stories and dreams, and want to help you create images that reflect the intentions that you have set for them.
I invite you to set an intention before we meet. You’re welcome to share this with me or keep it to yourself. If you do feel drawn to sharing with me, I’ll do my best to keep them in mind as I poke ink.
Tattoo ritual types
Shop tattoo: intention setting, image designed based on intention, ink placed while channelling intention
Private tattoo ceremony: intention setting, image designed based on intention, altar setting, candle lighting, ink placed while channelling intention
TATTOO FAQ
Blood Borne Pathogen certification: Every year I complete a Bloodborne Pathogen Certification course, where I refresh my knowledge around preventing the spread of communicable diseases. I am currently certified by the American Red Cross.
Sanitation: I use high quality disposables that are thrown away after each session, and practice proper glove changing protocols to ensure that bacteria are not spread and the tattoo area is as clean and sanitized as possible. I wash my hands before and after every tattoo session with warm water and antibacterial soap.
COVID and other airborne illness safety: Whether I’m tattoo at my home shop or guesting in another city, I always wear a KN95 mask throughout the entire time we’re tattooing together, and ask all of my clients to do the same. I also test for COVID on at least a weekly basis, and am happy to do so before our appointment by request.
Pricing: All tattoos are priced based on size, detail, and placement on the body. I’m always happy to work with budgets and make adjustments to designs that meet your financial needs. I offer sliding scale tattoos because I want them to be accessible.
