TATTOO PREP
Within a few hours before our appointment, make sure to eat a nourishing meal and plan to have at least a snack and water afterwards.
Please also wear a kn95 or similar mask while we’re together, I will too!
I invite you to set an intention before we meet. You’re welcome to share this with me or keep it to yourself. If you do feel drawn to sharing with me, I’ll do my best to keep them in mind as I poke ink.
Please bring cash to pay for your tattoo. Tips are welcome and appreciated :)
TATTOO AFTERCARE
Be gentle with your body and listen to what it needs! You’re healing from a beautiful new wound that needs nourishment as it heals
For the first two weeks, avoid being submerged in water including hot tubs, baths, swimming, saunas
After 48 hours, remove the second skin under warm water in the shower
For the first week, let the tattoo air dry or pat it dry with a clean paper towel
For the first 4 days of healing, apply a thin layer of a tattoo balm once or twice a day
Coconut oil, Dr. Bronner’s salve, et
After the first week, an unscented lotion can be applied once or twice a day to the tattoo. At this stage, it should be flakey and itchy. Avoid scratching the tattoo.
